Great British Racing International (GBRI) has launched its new website, along with a new promotional video, to inspire and enable future international investment into British racing and bloodstock.
The launch comes in a week when British racing is welcoming spectators back to its racecourses for the first time since before the pandemic in what represents a step towards business as usual for the industry. It also coincides with the country at large opening its borders to a limited number of ‘green list’ countries.
The new GBRI website offers a wealth of information about buying, owning, racing and breeding in Great Britain, and signposts to the need-to-know organisations and resources in the British racing and bloodstock industry for any prospective investor.
Its features include maps and contact details for Britain’s racecourses, trainers and studs, as well as a comprehensive list of British stallions, a facility for requesting British bloodstock sale catalogues and information about the GBRI Members’ Club
The website also presents a concise overview of British racing’s credentials as a world-leading industry in which to invest, demonstrating its standing internationally through key statistics and testimonials from some of global racing’s most prominent owner-breeders.
Minty Farquhar, acting general manager of GBRI, said:
“GBRI’s new website houses all the information and tools necessary for it to become a go-to resource for any aspiring international racehorse owner and/or breeder.
“The website also explores the industry’s credentials as a world-leader in racing, training, breeding, bloodstock sales and more, arming prospective participants with the statistics and information they need to make an informed decision about becoming financially involved in British racing.
“We are greatly looking forward to welcoming international owners back to our racecourses and sales in the months to come, and in the meantime trust that this enhanced GBRI website and promotional video will serve as a timely reminder as to why the British racing and breeding industry is worthy of the international investment it values so greatly.”
