Flightline, the world’s #1 horse on TRC Global Rankings, was on schedule to meet the former #1 Life Is Good after they featured among the pre-entries for the 2022 Breeders’ Cup.
The unbeaten four-year-old Flightline was one of nine horses engaged in the $6m Longines Breeders' Cup Classic, when the names were announced on October 26, in which he would meet last year’s Breeder’s Cup Dirt Mile winner Life Is Good, who is unbeaten in the US in 2022, for the first time.

Their clash sets up the Classic as the standout contest of the two-day international meeting which will be staged at Keeneland Racecourse, Kentucky, on November 4-5.
Also engaged are Epicenter, the top-ranked three-year-old in the US, and Rich Strike, the Kentucky Derby winner, while Cyberknife has been also nominated for the the Dirt Mile, which is his first preference race. The John Sadler-trained Flightline is 1-2 favourite with British bookmakers to win the Classic.
As many as 73 G1 winners, seven former or returning Breeders’ Cup champions including hat-trick seeking Golden Pal, and 45 runners from overseas, are among 205 pre-entries for the 39th edition of the event at which total purses are set to exceed $31m.
